Philosophy

our philosophy

"If I touch a body, I touch a person." (Dürckheim)
GPS is based on a "holistic system of order". The person, his ego, his subconscious, his body and his environment form a unit. We always approach the whole person (body, mind and soul) and treat accordingly (= expanded bio-psycho-social model of thought). This means that the physiotherapist has individual and special ways of accessing the patient. Respect for life in all its diversity is important to us and flows into our daily work.

Our aim is to train people to become independent, capable, critical and open-minded physiotherapists.

We - like other professionals - believe that vocational training is the basis for high-quality physiotherapy. The reasoning is that it provides better and more in-depth learning of the practical skills needed to treat patients successfully.
